Your Path to Freedom By Mark Holmes This book is a fascinating combination of experiencing what it’s like to walk the Camino de Santiago and also what it’s like to overcome personal loss and heartache. Ron describes his deep loss and through his walk with God and the Camino he attains freedom. This book is well written and Ron has a way of drawing you into his world. This book will help you along *your* path to freedom.

By Reba Red I am impressed by the depth of understanding and spiritual awareness presented in this account of walking the Camino. The Good Way gives valuable insight into hurt and loss, healing and relationships in a natural and effortless style. It is more than a story about walking 500 miles, it is an invitation to go deeper into your own heart. I enjoyed this book and I recommend it to anyone who is struggling with loss or disappointment. There are no spins or half-truths here, just an invitation to walk the good way.

By Cathy Smith I read the reviews and the back cover and it sounded like a familiar story, so I bought two copies. One for me and one for a friend. I began reading it the day it arrived at my door. By the end of the 3rd chapter, I knew my friend needed this book. I didn't want to put it down. The personal journey shared exposes the author to many vulnerable moments. I laughed with him sometimes and I cried at others. I truly felt I was right there experiencing it every step of the way. Although the circumstances of his are not the same as mine, the wounds left are all too familiar. His journey and the lessons learned along the way will give hope to anyone struggling to move forward after a hurtful experience. This is more than a book; it's a road map for life, the way Our Creator intended it. If you are not changed in some way by the end; then you just may need to dig deeper into your soul. I highly recommend The Good Way.

These were originally preached in Michaelskirche, Hamburg, in the mid-1950s. Thielicke approaches the parables in novel ways. In treating the prodigal son, for instance, he concentrates more on the loving father than the rebellious son, emphasizing the centrality of forgiveness. Similarly on the Pharisee and the publican, he shows that the publican is guilty of spiritual pride and arrogance, drawing attention to the dangers for the faithful. Both among expositions of the parables and among books for preachers, 'The Waiting Father' stands in a class of its own. Great scholars are usually poor preachers, and great scholars are rarely good preachers, but Thielicke manages to combine distinguished scholarship with fine preaching.

By Tim Bayly Just a caution: if you like Lucado, you may appreciate Thielicke, but you'll have entered a whole different world where the heart is searched with a searing spotlight and the deep secrets of our hypocrisy and sin are exposed through the parables of Jesus as Thielicke leads us to repentance. Lucado and Thielicke are completely different. Here's a typical excerpt from Thielicke, on the parable in Luke 18:9-14:"Many of us are less like the Pharisee, with his uplifted head and his solid moral character, than we are like the publican--but a somewhat different publican from the one described in the parable. Perhaps like a publican who says, "I thank Thee, God, that I am not so proud as this Pharisee; I am an extortioner, unjust, and an adulterer. That's the way human beings are, and that's what I am, but at least I admit it, and therefore I am a little bit better than the rest of the breed. I commit fornication twice a week, and at most ten percent of what I own comes from honest work. I am an honest man, O God, because I don't kid myself, I don't have any illusions about myself. Let your angels sing a hallelujah over this one sinner who is as honest as I am, honest enough to admit that he is a dirty dog and not hide it beneath his robes like these lying Philistines the Pharisees.'"

Thielicke's sermons place the reader in the middle of the meaning of the parables and of life's journey. Thielicke was a pastor during World War II, and his sermons reflect the depth of his rich experience of what it means to be human and loved by God. If you enjoy Max Lucado, you will enjoy and be blessed by Thielicke.

Specter's characters are so well written that I could actually imagine they are real people you would come across in life. Their personalities so real.In this book, the werewolf packs hold Trials that span 30 days. The last 2 standing will be transitioned into wolves. Many humans come in hopes of being judged worthy of becoming one of 20 to compete.Isaac Ward is ex Special Forces. An ex comrade, who he partnered with, sponsors him for the Trials. As he walks out to banquet hall to be judged, his eyes are drawn to man with intense blue eyes and he finds it hard to look away. Something tells Ward that he's the Alpha.After all the Potentials are chosen there is a small banquet. After the meal everyone gathers to socialize and size up the Potentials. Th man that Ward saw earlier approaches him. He knows Ryan Weiss for sure that's he's the without having to be told. When they touch a very strong tingling jumps between them and Ryan tells him not to say a word to anyone and to meet him later. Since the Potentials get locked in the basement, it's difficult to get out but he manages to get out and meet him.Ryan proceeds to explain the facts about fated mates and although it's very rare for wolf's to mate with a human that's exactly what's happening with Ryan and Isaac. Isaac's never been with a man so he's ever much taken aback. Ryan understands and will give him Tim to figure it out and comes to terms with it.Meanwhile he's dealing with the Trials. Ryan also told him that since they are mates Ward can forego the Trials and be turned. Ward doesn't want that, he wants to prove himself worthy. Dealing with physical apart of the Trials is easy. Dealing with the other Potentials, is a pain. He tries to keep himself isolated and not engage in making friends. Their is Maya who won't leave his side to be friends even though he does nothing to encourage and blows her off. Then there's Caleb, who for no reason, gives him a hard time from the first night.After a confession from Maya the first night, he's reminded of the bad memories of his past and needs to see Ryan. He turns to Ryan for comfort and he ends up having his first sexual experience with a ma but doesn't regret it.So the rest goes like this: Isaac finds out he's pregnant, he still wants to compete. He's gaining weight quickly even though they aren't fed enough. A rival Alpha, who wants to take over Ryan's territory, uses Isaac as leverage. This where all the action and suspense starts and I'm not gonna spoil it.I was on the edge of my seat. Suffice it to say, I really recommend this. If your into this subject you most certainly be disappointed.

With the excitement of a bootcamp competition that feels like the Hunger Games and the additional sizzle of a secret romance, this book moves at a steady pace. The mystery of the pregnancy and looming threat of those who would use the knowledge of it for gain creates an air of tension. I really liked that we saw everything from Issac's POV since we had a gay-for-you angle. The way that played out was really believable and even the pregnancy felt realistic (with the usual suspension of disbelief). It felt like a longer, fuller story than the page count would lead you to believe. It was unusual to see an omega who was "all man" instead of the tiny, twinky character that we usually see. All in all, a lot to recommend this one!

And i dont kmow how a pregnant guy attempting to keep to such a strict workout schedule can still carry on with such strenous trials. still, ive seen worse writing, there weren't many typos, and the dialogue flowed well.
