Some testimonies brought me to tears, others made me thankful for God's mercy and all of them encouraged my heart. God is so good to bring His people into the understanding of the truth of the gospel. Read this book for your own edification and give it away to unsaved friends and family to see what the Lord can do in their lives. I'm so glad I read this book!

My wife and I read it together each night before bed, and were greatly encouraged. The people who shared their testimonies in this book have blessed us a very intimate and shockingly honest look at the most private (and often painful) parts of their lives. It is often hard to read with a dry eye. This book is nothing less than compelling and fascinating. It clearly shows the active work of God TODAY in the lives of everyday people He is saving from many different backgrounds and walks of life. I promise you that you will see yourself in these testimonies. This book *beautifully* explains the Gospel, and who Jesus Christ really is. It is not spiritually "fluffy", but biblically sound and just loaded with powerful life-changing Scripture. The last chapter is an amazing account of how God went about saving guilty sinners who deserve only hell. I intend to reread that last chapter again and again. Read this book if you want to be encouraged. Share this book with someone who doesn't already know Christ (I have). BUT BEWARE: Unbelievers who read this book are in very serious danger of getting saved!

A wonderful book By Austin Thompson 1 Peter 3:15 commands believers to sanctify Christ as Lord in their hearts and give an account for the hope that is in them. That 'hope' is found in Christ Jesus alone through His atoning death on the cross in order to reconcile sinners to God. This book is filled with powerful testimonies of God's redemptive grace in the lives of broken people. It is my hope that you will be greatly encouraged by their stories and come to know the life changing peace that Christ gives freely to all who believe.

A wide variety of choices for every meal of the day, that will suit different tastes and lifestyles. In addition, the images gives ideas how to serve the dishes. I tried the Skillet Sirloin recipe. It was very easy to follow the steps, and the outcome was incredible. All the family liked the dish. Excellent book for connoisseurs of cooking.

This book gives me a lot of good ideas on how to make the best use of my cast iron pan. And I love all the recipes I've tried so far like Irish Soda Bread and Chicken Kale Pizza Bake. This book comes with nutritional facts for each recipe which I really appreciate. Although most of the dishes take 30-60 minutes or more to cook, it is definitely worth your time in making those dishes;)

I think this book would be a great, and welcome, gift idea for a college student or new grad, or a person that lives alone. The concept is great, and I haven't tried the recipes yet but they sound great. Bonus: it's small and sturdy enough to keep in a kitchen drawer. When I first got the book, I was charmed by the unique, flip-out page format. But I quickly discovered that it's a pain in the rump to actually deal with, and it's the only reason I gave this book 4 stars rather than 5.

I feel like I'm back in Kindergarten By TweetyRules A Microwave, A Mug, A Meal.What a pain - it is so difficult to read a recipe - these are attached in the bottom left corner & you pull out these thick flash cards - printed on both sides. This is NOT a book. When you try to open to read a recipe it takes up too much space. I feel like I'm back in Kindergarten.

You feel that you are a fly on the wall and a witness as the story unfolds. Christmas with a Palace Thief is wonderful. I have enjoyed every installment and this book is no exception.This novella stars Umberto Niro, the Royal Families Security Chief and Sara Angeletti a former body guard for Princess Sophia. Umberto has been introduced to us in a couple previous installments, but now he gets his own story.As we enter into the world of the Royal Barrali Family once again, we find Sara sneaking/breaking into the palace. She actually makes it past all the motion detectors, doors no longer locked and an answer for the entrance to the Royal residence, requiring a thumb print. Someone very important set this up for Sara to go directly to the Queen's closet and is found with her hands inside the chest of jewels. Suddently Umberto has a gun to Sara's head and she froze. Lucky for Sara, she had gotten what she needed was safely tucked just under her bra.Umberto immediately knew who the thief was, his ex-girlfriend and the ex-employee who had been fired 8 years ago. That was the last time he has seen her. It had been hard for Umberto watch Sara walk out of the palace and out of his life, but he would never have been allowed to continue the relationship with Sara admitting to shoplifting in Paris. Sara was Princess Sophia body guard as she was attending university in Paris. Now, Sara wondered why she has agreed to do this? She knew, she did it because she was asked and is a good person.In the last 8 years, Sara has become very successful with her own business on the island. She owned a “gelato” shop (ice cream) and had expanded into a second location last year.As Umberto took Sara to his office, she knew this was going to be hard to see him again, and for him to believe that she had stolen something again. She had hoped 8 years ago that he would have known that she is no thief and talked to her. But, instead he had never contacted her and she loved him and thought that he may love her too after all, they had been together over a year. She knew that both parties felt betrayed by the other then and perhaps a repeat now. Some things are not what they seem, but, will Umberto believe her to be the women he knew and that she would never steal. Or will he believe that she is a thief.Umberto or Sara had not forgotten the passion they once shared. But, Umberto knew that he would have to inform the King and maybe get the police involved. He felt there had to be more than meets the eye, and decided to let her go until he could do his own investigation and talk with the King. By the next day, he still did not know who could have turned off the motion detectors and who had given her his fingerprints she needed to get into the living quarters of the Queen and kind. He had to talk to her again to get answers about this incident and the one 8 years ago.To find out if there is a second chance for them, read this wonderful story.

I learned frommth beginning if she wrote out, just buy it as I know I will love it. I just love this series so I can't get enough of this Royal family. This book is the Barrali's Head of Security Umberto and Princess Sophia's security detail.m It's a sweet quick read with a love so deep that 8 years years later neither Sara or Umberto have moved on. I love everything about this book and the entire series. The only thing I didn't like about the book is that it had to end.

I can also just click on a bible verse and the Kindle will go to Bible.com or Biblegateway.com, I do not remember which, so that I can read the readings for the day.Also being a Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod publication makes it all the better.

I usually like the ease with which it switches back and forth to the Bible reading. Last month I could no longer accomplish that and was very disappointed. I had to close Portals and switch to my Bible and then go back to Portals of Prayer. Also, the proofreading has lacked in this issue. To many run together words.

Words run together, some sentences don't make any sense because the words are out of order or in the wrong place. it is as though the download just threw words on pages. I sure hope the next issue is better than this one.
