I loved seeing old characters come onto the field once again. It was like greeting old friends--friends who are totally hot and play football and hold babies. :)Ms. Hart has the ability to take a completely messed up guy, like Dumont, and make us root for him. Did he do some horrible things? Yes. Is it possible to lose your way and find it again? Sure. But it doesn't come easy and building love in the middle of a personal crisis makes for a compelling story that had me flipping pages (figuratively as I had a digital copy) late into the night.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Roman and Katie (Bonus: We get to see some of their HEA too!), but I also loved how Taylor Hart took someone we should hate for hurting the hero of the first book in the trilogy and made us fall in love with him. I know I've had moments where I made hard choices and wasn't always sure they were right. Seeing Sam work through those and become a better man was not only engrossing, it was relatable. Watching him fall in love with the baby was also adorable, funny, and sometimes sticky and messy.Another great story exploring not only romance, but the way we have to work through our own issues in order to be in a healthy and successful relationship! Looking forward to future books :)

By Amazon Customer I think Mr. Cox has written himself out on this series. It is short on action and long on repetition of which most seems to be copied and pasted from previous books in this series. The action could have been consolidated in a couple chapters.If a person picked this book up and was reading it without reading any other books in the series it might be an interesting read, but to those of us who have read all the books in this series to date it is very boring. So boring that I will not be buying more.

About the Author Michele Tucker was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. When she was fifteen, she met her future husband and at nineteen moved to Eastern, WA to live closer to him. They were married in 2003, and since then have welcomed three very sweet, but energetic boys. Prior to writing her debut novel, What's Left of Us, it had been about fifteen years since she's written anything beyond an email. She's thankful that God has given her stories to write, and the ability to share them. Michele is very active in her church, and teaches the Wednesday night program for the four and five year olds. Be warned - this book totally had me in tears - so, ya might want to grab a tissue or two.I loved the characters and their interaction with one another. I loved following their lives from childhood into adulthood and seeing the character's growth throughout their experiences. I felt Author Michele Tucker totally captured each character uniquely and did a great job of staying true toeach one.If you're looking for a sweet, well-written, uplifting love story- I HIGHLY recommend you one-click this! I am sure you will enjoy thus book as much as I did due to this original twist. Also...having delicious recipes to boot, is a nice plus.

Fr. Eusèbe M. Ménard, O.F.M., was gifted with a visionary perspective regarding God’s call to adults for ministry in the Catholic Church, specifically, priestly vocations. In the mid-1940s, Ménard, then a recently-ordained priest, proposed an innovative idea for training men called to serve God through the priesthood: seminaries for “belated vocations.” As he defined it, a man with a belated vocation had not heard the call of God in his early years or, having heard it, did not or could not follow God’s call at that time. The events leading to the formation of the present college and seminary proved challenging and, at times, personally painful for those people who joined Ménard in this enterprise. Still, it appeared from the start that the “Hand of God” was truly at work in the concept, acquisition, and development of Holy Apostles. This study documents the founding and initial development of Holy Apostles and highlights several significant events from the first forty years of its service to the Catholic Church.

By Cynthia This is an excellent book about the history of a Roman Catholic seminary and college in CT. The author goes into detail about the institution and development of Holy Apostles, and explains how the community overcame hardships (e.g. three fires) and went on to thrive.I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in local history and/or Catholic education.
