They are well planned and wellwritten. The descriptions make one feel as he/she is actually there. The characters are believable and likable, boo. In reading these books you won't want to stop reading until you finish. All are connected to the original lady, Mama Beth, but not always related.. You will enjoy your reading journeys and anticipate her next ones. I do. The stories are not "preachy," just good Christian reading. Enjoy!

It gives you a heart warming feeling and a strong sense of God's goodness and mercy. I read them all in just a few days, I literally could not stop until I read them all and am waiting impatiently for the next one! Cathy Bryant is an exceptional Christian writer! You can feel her heart in every word!

By Sherlee I have been a fan of Miller's Creek, the town, the people and the stories since I read the first book of the series. Born and raised in Texas, the people all seem like friends and neighbors I might have known. I love stories about kind hearted people whose lives are lived for the good of those they know. Even the atheist had a kind heart and strove to be a better person doing good for others. It was a fairly short jump for her to become a believer, and the story was very believable in getting her to that point. From the story of the atheist to Mama Beth's struggle to get back to the man she loves and everything in between, Miller's Creek books will draw the reader in and hold you there. Bring tissues, but also bring a heart ready to look inside the heads of people just like you and me. Cathy Bryant is a wonderfully articulate author. Pilgrimage of Promise, A Bridge Unbroken, and Crossroads are among my favorite books!
