3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. I followed the meal plan exactly for the first 2 ... By N. Dobbs I followed the meal plan exactly for the first 2 weeks and I lost 6.5 lbs. To this day (almost 6 months later), I have incorporated many, if not all of the low carb foods/better food choice alternatives (cooking with coconut oil, almond milk, coconut and almond flour, almond butter and much more) into my lifestyle of healthier eating. Following this plan, along with the book, "Healthy By Design: Weight loss God's Way" I've met goal of losing 10 lbs.--and I did it God's Way! And I will continue to adhere to the same principles of relying on my faith in God, prayer, meditating on scriptures, and healthy eating and exercise to maintain the weight I have released.

Cathy’s recipes and suggestions are not just simple but inspired by her faith and wisdom. She combines her wisdom from God with the latest research in nutritional science to help thousands of people like me to become smaller in our physical bodies and bigger in our souls.This is a great book by a great woman. If you eat according to her meal plan, you will not only lose weight but you will also enjoy fantastic tastes, colours and aromas. You’ll love God, people and yourself more too! This book has been such a blessing.
