About the Author Stacie Reid is a survivor of grief and a woman on a mission for God. She has learned a lot in her journey through grief. God has called her out on mission to Turkey and to Alaska. She believes the mission field begins when you walk out the front door each day and when you walk back into your home each day. Stacie spent nineteen years teaching students. Seventeen of those years were spent in inner city schools working with students with disabilities. She spent the last two years teaching Head Start. Today she is living her dream as a writer and spends time with her husband, Danny; their children, Kyle and Holly; and dog, Cherokee. The family resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

It truly is a story of a woman's journey from deep grief to true glory and Stacie Reid gives God all the credit. I personally think she deserves a little of the credit for her faith and endurance. But then I'm biased in her favor. She's crafted a wonderful narrative of her life as a widow and finding a new life after the devastating loss of her husband, James. Stacie is a strong and amazing person who has written an equally amazing book.

By Shirley When this young 42-year-old teacher awoke one morning, ready to prepare breakfast for her and her husband before they both headed off to work, she made a shocking discovery. In the night James had suffered a sudden and fatal heart attack and was lying on the kitchen floor. EMS was called; James was rushed to the hospital and put on life support; Stacie's family surrounded her and prayers for James were many. The damage to James's heart was too severe and he passed from this earth, leaving Stacie traumatized with grief. Being a woman of faith, surrounded by her Christian family and friends she struggled to find her place in the world. She traveled to Alaska, to Turkey and varrious places speaking with those who also were struggling with their grief. Stacie writes from her heart, sharing with the reader every fear, every pain, every struggle of how it feels as if her identify was lost. This book will keep you spellbound as you journey with Stacie as she shares how one CAN go from grief to glory and begin life anew. Through God's guidance and through Staicie's strong faith, she is now happily married to Dan and they are the parents of two children. It is a book that one finds oneself reading over and over, and it is a book that is to be shared with others who are trying to find their way after suffering a loss. This book is one that I highly recommend.

By gany As a survivor of loss of a loved one reading ,"From Grief to Glory" I was captivated by Stacie Reid's journey. She shares her heart and soul through the many trials and tribulations and her everlasting faith in God who is holding her hand. This book is positive and encouraging and her loving testimony . I was blessed and motivated daily in my grief journey by My friend., Ms Stacie. Her book will help others in their journey of life.she is blessed with the gift of words. It is a book I will read many times! 5 stars!!It will lovingly guide you to find that comfort.
