5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. too basic for me By poin3636 Some of these recipes are not true to how my grandmother would have prepared them so I am a bit biased in that way...I have several cookbooks and like Classic Lebanese Cuisine by Chef Kamal better at least when it comes to more traditional cooking the way that I am familiar with it Classic Lebanese Cuisine: 170 Fresh and Healthy Mediterranean Favorites. I foudn I have rarely referred to The Lebanese Cookbook by Hussein Dekmak. However, this might be a nice primer for someone interested in Lebanese cooking, the recipes in this book are simple and relatively uncomplicated.
