Good story but Corbin & Constance dont mate yet By Snowbunny1977 Only reason I gave this 4 stars is because we didn't get to see Corbin and Constance mate or anything. Not the sex part just mating period. Kinda left us hanging there and that's not usual. Circumstances were a bit different in this one and maybe that was why. I sorta didn't like Constance because she was so damn quick to shoot off and ask questions later. I felt bad for Corbin because at the start he tried to be friendly and she like went all crazy. However, Bella did try and warn them all about Constance but they didnt heed her warning. So, in a way brought on themselves. All her playing with Corbin did was hurt her in the long run when Mr. Vampire came lookin for her cause she drained her magic on something stupid. I did like Belle a lot she was fun and sassy. Layton was actually sweet BUT he did think she would submit to him just like that. He did have to work a little. Ha. I liked the nickname he gave her that was the sweet part. Now...I know we'll be getting Wish's story...I like these names...they are quirky and cool.

Layton is alpha, Corbin is his beta and younger brother, and Wish also his beta and youngest brother. Annabella and Connie are fae, new to the area. Corbin and Annabella are both out enjoying a fall run/walk and meet. there is a leaf pile, a distress call to his brothers, and a dunk in the river involved. Layton has found his mate. Connie is a powerful fae with a temper to match. Corbin is sent by Layton to fetch Connie for Annabella. corbin just found his mate. There is zapping, off key singing of show tunes, and a Vampire. the wooing his just beginning and Wish is planning some mischief. Can't wait to see what Wish has in store and what kind of mate he is going to have.

The storyline is humorous and loveable with scorching hot scenes. The characters are witty, imaginative, realistic. If you are looking for a light hearted funny and a Magnificent read this is for you. It's a must read for me.
