It is a set of 4, the third season of the New Haven series. I have followed Noel's destiny since the first book Embraced and was happy to see he was doing well and progressed in his training. The introduction of new characters in season two made this box set much more diverse as we follow not only Noel on his path to become a fully fledged member of Theoden's family and the bad ass vampire he was destined to be but also Elijah and Deacon, werewolves with their own agenda, and Theoden's latest addition to the family Dante, a hybrid with his own abilities. The sex is hot, cruel, weird and kinky. The dynamics between the characters flow easy and are multi layered. These books are highly addictive, I couldn't put them down and before you read this season, get Season 1 Chained in Darkness and Season 2 Prince of the City.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Cray dark and very twisted! AMAZING By DiverseReader Well wasn’t this interesting. We get to see inside Deacon , the Alpha wolf’s, mind. And here’s the thing…. I want to hate him because it feels like he’s trying to mess with Theoden and his boys. But at the same time I’m utterly intrigued by him and how he is with his mate. Shockingly, I don’t find the wolves to be as torturous or brutal as the vampires. Deacon is ridiculously tame when it comes to punishing his mate when he’s out of line. Whereas Theoden would burn your internal organs, watch them grow back and then rip off other appendages just because you said no.There’s serious plot thickening in this season and I feel a war is brewing. I can only hope that the vamp guys fair well! I’m getting attached to them. But this is Nicholas Bella and that mind of his is scary!!!!Must read this series if you haven’t already!

Feathers are ruffled over this take over and deals are made with the Dragons and wolf's. Pack leader deacon discovers his mate but his mate doesnt share the same feelings. New children are created to build up the vampire empire. Noel really starts to gain more respect with his brothers and finally truly excepts his place in his new world. Read season 1 and 2 then I recommend you read season 3
