About the Author Christian Galacar (Born 1984) grew up in Ipswich, Massachusetts, a small suburb north of Boston. He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he received a BBA degree in Finance. Although interested in writing fiction from a young age, it wasn't until 2012--and realizing the banking industry wasn't all that fun--that he decided to pursue it as a career. Cicada Spring is his first novel. He is currently working on his second book, Soldier of God, a dark psychological horror novel. Look for it in 2016. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Strange and tasty By Ron Baker All four are entertaining horror stories with a touch of the bizarre. I particularly liked the deep mine monster tale. A miner awakens some sleeping insectoid creatures and mayhem ensues. This story kept my interest trying to figure out what they were, where they came from, what their alien intent was and would they decimate the population. The other three shorts were somewhat incomprehensible but still well written and entertained my love of tales a bit (or a lot) bizarre. recommended.
