She has a less than stellar past that she’s desperately trying to erase and begin life anew. And with her bad luck in the relationship department, she’s determined to swear off men for good.Michael is a charming bachelor known for his fear of commitment. But when he meets Monica, he just can’t stay away. The problem is, he knows he’s not good for her or her children because of his fear of commitment, but he constantly finds himself drawn to her and her little family.Is there hope for a future between Monica and Michael? Or for the sake of the children and everyone involved, is it better for them to just stay apart?This was such a sweet story! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and the plot and I thought it was clever that the author kept the details of Monica’s past a mystery until towards the end of the book. I loved how Monica came from a broken past and made a successful woman of herself all while raising two young children. The chemistry between Michael and Monica was great also. This was just such a fun, sweet story that you’ll finish in no time. I highly recommend this one!

Both suffered emotional deprivation in childhood and are cautious about taking risks, yet they are drawn together by the love that slowly develops between them–love for each other and love for Monica’s twin boys. There are misunderstandings along the way, a jealous boyfriend, and lots of job conflicts that threaten to derail their budding relationship. But Michael starts rearranging his life to spend time with Monica and her boys. Love wins out in the end in this is a heartwarming Christmas story.

A Delightful Romance By Loves Reading A wonderful story about a young woman who has had her share of troubles in the past and now has the support of a wonderful family, but she hasn't had luck in love. Men have used her badly or let her down, for example her current man who would rather spend his time far away from her and her two adorable little boys. Then she meets Michael, who seems to be all wrong, but he is searching for love like her, even if he doesn't know it at first. It is delightfully satisfying following these two on their journey to their happy ending, and seeing the two little boys finally get a papa.
