My favorites are Clean Romance short stories, especially Mail Order Bride. I love writing historical Western romance novellas and short stories. I also write a cozy mystery or two. They are such fun! Yes, my faith is important to me, and as an author clean Christian western romance is my heart passion. I love being able to tell a story, be it an American mail order brides series, a Mail Order bride and babies tale, or a historical western romance novella, and at the same time bring a positive message of hope, faith and love to uplift readers. I don't think that offensive elements are necessary to tell a great story, and I always ensure that I write great Christian Western romance free of anything that might compromise my readers in any way. The main thing for me is always the story, and the characters. A great plot is what makes a story worth reading. Where do your brides and their stories come from? Mail Order Brides of the west, east or sometimes even foreign brides jump into my imagination every day, each telling their own special story! I have mail order brides of Texas, New York, even Liverpool, England. So many places, so many tales to tell. I get an idea for a book or a series and when I begin to write the stories often take on a life all of their own. Just like my readers, I am often on the edge of my seat eagerly waiting to find out what will happen next! I even have a few Mail Order Husbands cooking. :) What would you like to say to your readers? Just two short words. Thank you! I think many authors take their readers for granted, but without you there would be no stories. A story only really comes alive in the hand of a reader. My readers are the reason I write, the reason I can tell my tales. Without them, well, there would be no story to tell. A Gift for Billy is a sweet easy to read inspirational book where the author shows us that we have the choice to be a follower of Christ even though we have challenges in life. I liked how the author took Billy and grew him in his faith in Christ even though he had chosen to leave his aunt/guardian at a very young age. Billy stayed faithful in his trust in Christ. He made some bad choices in his life and had to face up to them, but it was kind of fun how he turned one bad choice into good…just how Christ works all for good in our lives if we trust in Him. You'll have to read the book to find out:) I was gifted this book in exchange for my honest review.

Billy William Massey was busy starting his own ranch and did not have time to find a wife. Anna Templeton has a school teacher and wanted adventure. Both are Christians and want a Christian mate. When Billy invites guests for Thanksgiving, a misunderstanding is made that Billy is married, where is he going to find a wife on short notice? Billy’s cousin Rupert comes up with the perfect plan for Anna and Billy to get together during Thanksgiving. Anna agrees to travel with him and his mother to Jade Creek. The plot has several twists and turns that keep the pages turning. The dialog is open and honest and the chemistry between Billy and Anna is love at first site.

SHE LEFT HOME TO MEET A MAN WHO COULD BE HER HUSBAND AND NEVER RETURNED HOME By Dorothy Hendrickson Anna left Cincinnati with her dear friend Ruppert and his mom Amelia to meet Ruppert's cousin Billy who was LOOKING by for a wife. Her sister Marion was getting married in four months and that was all her mother ever talked about. She did not take all of her clothes because she did not know if Billy would want her for his bride. They arrived the day before thanksgiving and Anna cooked a huge dinner for Billy and a lot of guest. Anna and Billy got off to a good start as you will see when you read the book.
