1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Well-Written Collection of Novellas! By NinerFan I really enjoyed reading this collection of novellas! They all take place in a cabin in the mountains of Wyoming. The time period ranged from late nineteen century all the way to present day. What I liked about this book was that all the novellas were well-written. Although each story was short, I didn't feel rushed or left with unanswered questions. Aside from the cabin, the other common themes were a small Bible and a framed embroidery that became the inspiration for the troubled dwellers. The stories were heartwarming, and the romances were sweet. I read this within a day, because it was so good! I highly recommend this book!

By Brenda C Irvin Every story has to do with the wonderful little cabin where several people found themselves, not by accident, but in the plan of God. Here they found peace in a scripture embroidered in a covering on the mantle; a place of refuge from physical storms and the storms of life. God made a difference in each of their lives. I loved each story.
