2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. The Bride Raffle By Amazon Customer As with all of Samantha's books, I really enjoyed this one. Belle arrives in Tombstone just as her mail order groom to be is on the gallows, accused of murder. Belle wants to turn around and take the stagecoach right back out of town, but Jed's brother won't allow it, as she now belongs to him. He has no desire to have another wife, so he threatens to raffle her off to the highest bidder.I had to give a little cheer for the ending! ;)

I managed to get to 83 percent but could not make myself read another word. It's awful. I only found two positive things about it. It's well edited and its short. I kept thinking, "Maybe this is a spoof". But it's not funny either. It's just a really bad story.
