By jtbsr He worked and strived for the American Dream..and when his country needed him, he answered the call, leaving his dream in secure and capable hands. After facing the throes of battle and war, with all the terror and horror, returning home to find deceit and lies, he suffers many of the ills associated with the wounded warrior veteran. Read "BEAST OF STRATTON" and discover the effect of a daughters love.....WHO IS THE BEAST OF STRATTON???....
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A beauty of a tale, with beastly suspense. By Julie C This modern twist on Beauty and the Beast is very creatively done. There is plenty of suspense and tender, clean romance. I found the dialog a bit hard to follow in the beginning, as if the beauty and the beast spoke in code. I also wondered why no one other than the "beauty" made more of an issue about the drastic change in the beast's attitude and appearance, not even his best friends or his mother. And the last chapters seemed bit rushed. I would have liked more depth. But it definitely kept my interest because I read it in two sittings. (I probably would have read it in one, but I did have to go to work...) So far that reason I give it a 5.Whether you are familiar with the original Beauty and the Beast tale or not, you will enjoy this modern revamping of it. A very good read, and I hope to see more from Renee Blare in the future. She is an excellent wordsmith and really grasped the intricacies of the modern corporate world with it's trade secrets and spies.

Fast Paced Intrigue By Victoria Pitts Caine Wounded and suffering from PTSD, the beast, Miles Stratton comes home to find his architectural firm in shambles seemingly destroyed by his best friend, Stephen, who is missing.When everyone appears to be against Miles, a new employee, Aimee is caught after hours trying to crack the computer system. He recognizes her as Stephen’s daughter, and she struggles to make Miles believe she’s not trying to do further damage to his company. He and Aimee, along with the chief of security, Ian, go to her home to recover the clues left by her father when a more sinister plot unravels their plans.Fast paced and interesting the twist and turns of the plot make this a fast read. The characters are well developed and the story unfolds into one of heartfelt reclamation from the real beast that holds the main character.
