About the Author Michele Gilbert's greatest hope is to inspire others and show them ways to overcome adversity and gracefully accept life's inevitable low points. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York Michele was drawn to literature and writing at a young age. She enrolled at Brooklyn College and majored in English. Today she publishes books-mostly personal development and spiritual in nature. As an avid hiker, Michele and fellow club members often hike the picturesque Jersey Pine Barrens. She is a history buff, voracious reader, baseball fanatic and a foodie. She also proudly supports Trout Unlimited-a national non-profit organization dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring North America's Coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. By Nomore This book ended my long journey....after 3 years of being targeted by an ex-boyfriend, I have found in Michele's book a clear, straight forward, insightful description of my own experience in relationship with what I now know to be a Psychopath. Michele organized and addressed many of my own experiences in my brief, but devastating, relationship with a Psychopath...which I have been struggling to piece together for the last 3 years. The relationship ended, but the targeting did not. I have asked myself all of the questions this book describes...."Is it me", "Am I imagining the lies", "Is what he says about me true", "How can he be one way one minute and another next", "why am I afraid of him", and so many more questions discussed openly by Michelle. Presented with clear answers. And I WAS physically hurt by this man...everything that this book tries to inform the reader about happened to me. Michele, I will forever be indebted to you, for today I DO understand, I have put down the fight and I have peace. Thank you!

I learned a lot about the personality traits of psychopaths and sociopaths. This book gave me lots of ideas and support for coping in such situations and really made it clear what personality disorders are and can do to people. It really again shows a whole new perspective on someone who thinks what they're doing is right. It's interesting to learn about what goes on inside their brains and why they do what they do. Through my reading with this book especially the psychopath's checklist, I realize a lot of things and think of somebody that I know or I used to know that have this kind of mental disorder.If you have some doubts about your partner, this book is right for you.

Good book By Vera Dating with psychically ill person can be a stressful for people, especially because most of us are not educated to learn how to react in unpredictable situations. This book explains how to react if you realize that you are dating a mentally ill person. I did not know what will I read in it, but it gave me the basic knowledge about this matter.
