I've been reading them for almost 20 years off and on. Being a fan of literature also I can't give them 4s and 5s. This is your typical Clint Adams book. I will say while I like the new price the proof reading with the new publishing company is horrible. Poor spelling, and wrong tense are the biggest offenders.

Books 400 and beyond are mostly self-published through a U.K. imprint fighting to keep the adult western genre alive. However, the new business model lacks the editing and proofreading that Jove offered. This one was great, but Randisi needs to hire his own proofreader, it seems.
