Mark is a professional ice hockey player who moves wherever his contract takes him, while Iris is a social worker who needs to stay in the same place to be able to make a difference. When Mark's mother becomes really sick, Iris steps in to support the woman who took her under her wing and treated her like a daughter. While Mark's mother hides the truth of the extent of her illness from Mark, Iris' compassion shines through.While I loved the relationship between Mark and his mother, Sandra and Iris and Sandra, I didn't feel the spark between Mark and Iris. It felt a safe relationship between the two of them. It was, though, a fascinating story with lovely characters.***Reviewed for LBM Book Blog***

You could feel the love they had for each other. The supporting characters were top-notch and realistic. The plot was tight, the dialog sharp, and the romance tender and sweet. This book is part of a cancer charity collection with all proceeds going to The Mario Lemieux Foundation. There is no down side to Home Ice Advantage at all. Pick up your copy today! You'll have a great romance to enjoy while you're helping in the battle against cancer.

Jaymee Jacobs did a fabulous job of weaving a story of such a True Love. Her story had all the best in romance...Hometown Hero, Girl next door, Renewed Love, Family support...It has it all!I have received a free ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
