About the Author Stanley Marianski is the author of eleven books which include topics on meat smoking, pickling and making alcoholic beverages. Stanley actively participates in many forums and conferences related to meat smoking; he is a regular participant of the Wedliny Domowe National Conference in Poland where purveyors of meat products get the opportunity to showcase their goods. His main objective in writing his books which always contain diagrams is to help the reader "understand the sausage making process" and then "create his own recipes." His passion for creating unique sausage blends have been handed down from generations and he looks forward to continue sharing this passion with sons who also co-authored most of his books.

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Wonderful Sausage Book for "Calorie, Fat, and Cholesterol REDUCTION". By Robert C. I have been trying to find information on making low calorie sausages for a long time but without much success. There are many recipes on the Internet but they only list ingredients and it is impossible to determine how much fat and calories they contain. This information is crucial for me as I am on a strictly controlled diet. I was surprised to find out that the book not only explains how to reduce fat and cholesterol, but also teaches how to calculate the amount of calories in a sausage. This wonderful book is the answer to all of my questions.

Sausages made healthy By Sheila Raj While the words 'healthy' and 'sausage' are not often seen together, the authors of 'Making Healthy Sausages' suggest they ought to be. They have created a large variety of methods and recipes, and all can be eaten without feeling guilty. The mantra of the book is to reduce fat and salt intake, which is hard to do when making sausages. But the authors of the book manage to do just that with some eccentric recipes. They even dedicate a portion of the book to making veggie sausages. This is a must for anyone trying to eat healthier while still enjoying their food.

Packed with info By Almost Homesteader Just like all the other Marianski family books this book contains all the info to safely make the sausages in the book and precise guidelines to make your own recipes. Highly recommend. Best sausage and smoking books available.
