By DeeWNY About a month ago I decided to re-read for the fourth or fifth time Joshua Guess' entire Living With The Dead series because I like it so much. When I was done with all seven books I started in again on the three books of The Fall series, and about halfway through Dead Will Rise- Book 2 of The Fall -I decided to get on Amazon to see if Josh had anything new.So pleased to see that, yes he does, After re-reading The Fall series I was eager to see what Josh had in store for Kell in Book 4 Genesis Game. I was not disappointed- revisiting familiar characters and new ones, and becoming immersed in the world as it is after the Zombie Apocalypse. People and societies are complicated and Joshua Guess keeps creating situations, characters and reactions that are both fantastic and believable.There is a new danger facing the survivors of Haven and the new settlement and the book moves along quickly with confrontations with the Dead and the Living, and, as usual, the living are scarier and worse.I'm looking forward to Kell's next adventures, glad to have the chance to spend time with some of the original LWTD characters and eager to see what's down the road.Meantime I'll have to check out The Next Series - I see it's not zombie based, but Joshua Guess is not a one-note author, so I'm guessing (oh, sorry terrible pun) I'll like it too.

By LizH Delighted to see that Joshua Guess keeps it coming with his stories in the Fall and Living with the Dead universe. I am intrigued with what he has done with Kell and other characters we have grown to love.... Pressure is on now though to write more so we can find out what will happen in this great series. I'd recommend this book to fans of the zombie genre as well as fans of a rollicking good character driven tale of survival against the odds. I would also recommend checking out the Next series .. Another reviewer mentioned it as well. Mr Guess writes great characters and dialogue. Do yourselves a favour and check his books out :)

By JohnnyC That was fun, old friends back to help each other and also to fight new enemies.I have to admit that when the heaven series finished, I thought about giving up and moving on. Now I am so glad that I didn't.The world seems so different now, even the zombies don't effect me, no stress any more, just people helping people.In all honesty I do miss the stress of those intelligent zombies watching New Heaven and looking for weakness, but these story's are just as good.
