From what it is, to why God instituted it, and who it was originally for, Guy Burgo offers a clear and understandable explanation of this sometimes controversial subject. I greatly appreciate finally understanding what God expects of me in the area of giving and why. My takeaway after reading this book is a tremendous sense of relief and gratitude. I highly recommend this book to any Christian who has struggled to understand biblical generosity and how it applies to them personally and to the church as a whole.

It is scripture based learning combined with the author's expertise in Christian giving that makes it such an enjoyable learning tool. It brought tears to my eyes as I began to question my own practice of giving. Read it, enjoy it, and learn to be "free to give as God intended!"
