1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Every detail in an easy to read but highly educational textbook style By db Don is an excellent author. He covers every detail in an easy to read but highly educational method. Don really knows his subjects. I highly recommend all of his works.

By Hope Irvin Marston This review is for the 2004 soft cover edition.The author poses 35 questions on death, dying and the afterlife. He answers the questions and than quotes the scriptures on which he based his responses. Scriptures used are from eight translations. Where there are divergent opinions among evangelicals, he presents both sides.The topics discussed are diverse with such things as why there is death and dying in a perfect world, physical and spiritual death, burial or cremation, embalming, superstitious practices about death and burial, suicide, responding to the death of a believer, and responding to the death of a loved one who may not be a believer.The book contains much food for thought...and makes me want to read other volumes in this Afterlife Series. I was disappointed that I could not find them in softcover like Volume One.I would have given the book five stars if the fonts had been larger and darker. The font used for the scriptures is much smaller than many of us with "older' eyes find easy to see/read. I would recommend that in future volumes the author/publisher enlarge and darken the fonts....and eliminate the Summary at the end of each chapter._Hope Irvin Marston, Author of AGAINST THE TIDE: THE VALOR OF MARGARET WILSON.
