Glass Ridiculous price for 31 recipes.Zero pictures except cover.Dulce de Leche & coconut bars is an example of how there is not a recipe to make your own dulce de leche from sweetened condensed milk and there is zero brand recommendation.If you are not in a major metropolitan city, then good luck getting many items like maserepa for arepas. Also herbs like guascas are not detailed like Secrets of Colombian Cooking, i.e what it looks like and where to get it.Yes some items are available on the web. Items like guascas, even here on Amazon, you are getting gauged on shipping for an item that is only $1 or $2 for more than 10 grams at a Latin American market.On Amazon for 10 grams of guascas you pay $5 plus for just the shipping.10 grams is not even 1/2 an ounce AND yes 1st class mail for $0.49 cents covers one full once.I recommend Secrets of Colombian Cooking,expanded edition, by McCausland-Gallo which costs less, has many pictures (don't care if some not color they still help) and a middle with lots of colored photos; The glossary and index help you with brands to find and substitutions if you can't find an item.
