By Hello Happy I’m all for finding ways to make dinner prep faster, so I was very interested in the recipes in Dump & Bake Dinners. The main point is that you only need one pan, which then you put all the ingredients in, bake and you have a delicious dinner. Different types of pans are used, including a crock pot, skillet, square baking dish and others. The first recipe I had to try was for the So Simple Skillet Lasagna, I was interested to see how it would turn on cooking it on the stove top. I have a deep pan so it wasn’t hard to layer everything in, including uncooked broken up lasagna noodles. I liked the dollops of ricotta on top and it was surprising how fast it was to make and serve.The other recipe I’ve tried (so far!) is the Ham and Hashbrown Bake since I had some leftover ham I wanted to use up. It has Greek yogurt in it, which kept the tang of the sour cream, without adding a lot of extra fat. I did substitute cheddar cheese cubes for the American cheese. It was a really good main dish for us with a salad and rolls. I’m enjoying looking for more quick and easy recipes, it’s a great time saver for the weeknights!
