About the Author Barbara Jennings is a well-known and highly respected author and online trainer in the home staging and redesign industries. This faith-inspired story, also a partial auto-biography, is her first book reflecting her life long journey with God and the personal relationships so meaningful to her (highlighting one in particular). She has written 18 books to date and is the director of the Academy of Staging and Redesign (Decorate-Redecorate.Com). Currently she is working on two novels to be published later this year.

By Emi Flynn Echoes in Eternity is a compelling biographical journal that chronicles the story of two individuals bound together by their love for each other and their mutual love and trust in God. Barbara and Dave’s love endured fifty-plus years until death ultimately separated them. This intriguing saga starts with Barbara’s early life in an American missionary family in Japan, an emotionally detached relationship with her father, and limited experiences living in the U.S when she returned for college. It describes her struggles to find trust, loyalty and friendship among men, courtship with a basketball star, marriage, infidelity, divorce, reconciliation, a business relationship, remarriage and children, cancer and more. Despite many difficult and challenging times, Barbara and Dave’s unwavering love prevailed and determined the course of their long relationship.Initially some of the happenings in this story saddened, surprised and even shocked me. I felt that Barbara was an enabler that allowed Dave to pursue his religion-based zeal to the extent that he withdrew from the relationship as it had been before. Barbara’s decision to seek out a less mundane life was pivotal in changing the course of their lives forever. In my humble opinion, Dave’s behavior was an echo of her father in earlier years.In summary, Echoes in Eternity is a powerful love story. It is fascinating to see how Christian love permeated their lifestyles and wrapped itself around the lives of many people, including Barbara’s husband and their two children. I highly recommend this riveting book that shows God’s intervention to help them all confront the challenges of a most complicated life.

By grant godfrey Most of the time when i read it is to put me to sleep, which generally occurs about 3 lines into a paragraph. In Barbara Jennings book, Echos In Eternity, it was an entirely different story. From the moment i picked it up i was riveted. Every time i read the book it would wake me up! I would be so engaged in the book that a chapter would fly by and i would have to force myself to put it down because i had to get some sleep! I would look forward to reading it during the day, and i couldn't wait to get to it! It was one of the best books i have read in years and i want more from this author! It was such a touching, heart warming and inspiring story. Everyone who has ever had someone close to them will be impacted by this evocative adventure in deep relationship. I wish everyone would to themselves and the ones they love a huge favor by reading this book! You would be so grateful you did as it will move you to appreciate those closest to you!

Echoes in Eternity is a gift, a treasure ~ a True Story of Eternal Love and Friendship By Lori Levasheff True humility, transparent honesty, and amazing grace emanate from the pages of this personal story. I am fortunate to have known this book's central character as well as the talented and gracious author. It was hard to put down, only to pick it up the second time to finish one man's earthly journey, and the a woman's genuine selflessness and wise insights. It is a story of profound love that crosses human barriers and exceeds human ability to love and forgive.I was reminded fresh and anew the power of giving oneself away and in seizing the moment. One author writes, ".....We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand ~ and melting like a snowflake." From personal experience, I know this to be true.If you do not yet know and understand that relationships with others are the only real treasures in life, please give yourself the gift of this story of eternal love and friendship.
