Great Addition To The Series By Daniel Bowen I've been slowly progressing through Catherine Lieven's books, enjoying how her pride series links to the pack one. So I saw this one about Nysys who has played a minor role in other books. He is the obnoxious dresser but fun and adorably clumsy. Nysys is this colorful guy with pink hair, facial and body piercings, and tattoos. To date no one in the Whitedell Pride has figured him out . . . Yet he's placed on the paranormal council. While he's marginally happy, he feels he needs to prove himself, to be useful and not a mess up. So he steps up, volunteering for the job to protect Morin Glass as only a Nix can.The coming together of Morin and Nysys was romantic, fun, and inevitable. Of course Morin is human, doesn't feel the mate pull but admits his attraction. Nysys recognizes his mate but doesn't feel worthy. He has a lifetime of fears to overcome. Of all the paranormal races it's the Nix that swim in emotional problems. Thankfully Catherine Lievens pulls it all together. I just wish they visited a tattoo place. . . . Nysys needs a mating tattoo. . .This story concludes the pharmaceutical problems - That whole situations was tied up extremely well. I didn't have one suggestion because everything was covered. There's enough tangents to lead into other stories -- That some of the experiments may come back to haunt them . . . Problems with the board of directors. . . Or the company sale. You know, those tangents. This story focused on the two men instead of all the other couples at the pride house. A few past characters pop up and that was nice for a change - I wasn't overwhelmed with remembering everyone. It was a nice addition to the pride seies. - Dan's Wife

Great series By MsNing I'm really enjoying this series I highly recommend everyone reading it I love the fact that there are so many different paranormal creatures. I won't go into the synopsis because there is already one and I'm not going into details it will ruin the story besides the synopsis already tells you everything you need to know about the book. I'm just offering my opinion on a really good series and there are enough pages that you don't feel like you're wasting your money like buying short stories for less pages for same price. I do recommend starting from book 1 because if you start mid series you will be so lost and not understand the characters the author is good with bringing characters from the other series over

By Heather Leonard One of the best in the Whitedell Pride/Gillham Pack world so far. I love all of these books by Catherine Lievens, some more than others, but this one is right up there near the top. I've been intrigued by Nysys since he was introduced way back when the council was being formed. He is so OTT, but even with the little snippets we got of him in prior books, you could tell he was just masking a great deal of pain. This was a beautiful story of discovering self worth, and embracing life when it gives you a precious gift. I can't wait to see what comes next. I'm always impatient for the next in the series. At least now with the Gillham Pack books, I get two a month instead of just one...YAY!
