About the Author Paul W. Meier, a second career pastor, received a Masters of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School and a Masters of Sacred Theology degree from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. He served eleven years in parish ministry. He's a member of the board of directors for Trinity/HOPE, an organization that feeds children in Haiti (www.trinityhope.org) and also serves as the chairperson in his synod for the ELCA Malaria Campaign as it joins with others to eradicate malaria from third world countries.
