I eat leafy greens by the baleful, but Kale…not so much. I just find it hard to work with, and a bit bitter. But I know it’s good for me, so I persist. That’s why I was so happy to come across this book. It explains how to prepare and store kale, and has tons of delicious recipes from soups to main dishes to smoothies. Trust me, I’ll be trying these recipes one after another, now that I have the secrets to making them taste good!

I enjoyed reading this cookbook on kale. I've been using kales in salad and that's about. Everyone know it's important to eat helthy green vegetables and kale is a superfood. The author does a great job explaining why kale is such a great addition to your diet and how this superfood can make you healthier. The recipes are well written and the instructions are concise and easy to follow. There are soups, salad, side dish, chip, main dish and smoothie recipes using kale as a star ingredient. I made the quinoa, kale sun dry tomato main dish and even the kids were impressed.
