The two love interests are supposed to be Desiree and Preston but there is too much involvement with outside characters. For much of the book, Desiree is much more involved with a different character than Preston. More than once I questioned the blurb describing the book and thought they got the love story wrong. I didn't enjoy the fact that both Desiree and Preston had sex with other people while they were supposedly going to end up together. It was unbelievable to me that everywhere Desiree went every handsome, rich, single Alpha male within spitting distance was falling all over her. She was also a bit of a lush. I didn't particularly care for the sex scenes, I didn't think they were very well-written. I didn't despise this book but I didn't have the sense of satisfaction I usually have with a happily-ever-after.

Her first book, Ethereal, is 180* different from this one. While Ethereal introduces readers to Trinity Grace and a whole different outlook on the soldiers who guard our freedom, Blitz gives us Desiree Evans and her difficult choice between football star Hunter Griffin and the serious - but extremely sexy - Preston Wade, a former football star turned businessman. A modern-day romance with some spicy language and naughty fun, this book delivers great characters and a fun time. So, go grab your favorite refreshing beverage, open the book, and let yourself fall into a few hours of fantasy. Oh, and while this book is a stand-alone, the author has plans to write more books to let you know what happens to those characters that you can't help but want to know more about!* Disclaimer: I am friends with the author and edited the book, but that did not influence my opinion. By Susan.W I have mixed emotions about this book...****SPOILER**** This book had so much more potential but fell short.. Desiree is a recent college graduate with a law degree and moved back home to her brother's house in Florida. He is a successful club owner. Desiree and her best friend and college roommate Bree end up at her brother's club and she ends up meeting the ex football star turned billionaire Preston Wade. Preston has 2 bimb's on his arm and one of them bumps into her with her big plastic boobs and makes her spill water all over bree..He ends up apologizing for them wich makes her mad...So they meet and the typical chemistry and sparks fly just by touching. Preston is your typical rich playboy and he is not a relashonship kind of guy, he just hook ups. So the author says..(he does nothing to make me believe he is a man whore) next time at the club Desiree meets the quarterback football star Hunter, at her brothers bar and they start to date..Once again he is also not relashonship material but for her he will be..All the men she meets could be on the cover of GQ..And she seems to meet alot..Preston gives Desiree a job offer she cant refuse and she ends up working for him. MY problem with this book was the lack of story between the two main characters. This book spends more time on her relashonship with hunter and her friends..Desiree has a 2 week relashonship with hunter before it all got messed up..There was also so many un-answered questions?? This book would have been better with dual POV..We didn't get to know Preston at all. We got to hear about him through Hunter who was his good friend until Hunter slept with Prestons wife and they divorced. Once again that was a shock and came out of nowhere. That's were a POV would have been great from Preston. Around the 80 percent mark we still didn't get sh*t from Preston. This book still left me wanting more emotion's from Preston. It was hard to feel the chemistry and passion between the two because it was more about his business and other characters. Another unanswered question again is ...Desiree is upset and goes to a restaurant and gets drunk once again and meets another club owner, Owen and they become friends..He takes her on a tour of his elusive club wich has sex rooms...Later in the book she ends up at his club and his partner slips her a date rape drug so Owen can have his way with her...but he turns out to be a good guy and calls hunter and her brother to get her to the Hospital,then nothing else is said about this..No charges, Nada, nothing was ever done and mentiond again..There was lack of information..also there were 2 sex scenes..one was with hunter and one in the end with Preston..I just couldn't buy the connection. No depth.This is a romance book and I wanted romance between the 2 characters, I spent most my time reading about her feelings about Hunter...Then it was Preston..She was all over the place with who was hotter and so on. This book just left me a little confused..OH well..from what I read there will be more books. BUT I still missed the great passion in this book between Preston and Desiree!!!
