Besides recipes, I loved the information at the beginning explaining different aspects of Mediterian Diet, what mediterian foods we can use instead of commonly used non-Mediterian ones. Also loved "tips and notes" section after each recipe which added more personal touch to the recipes and gave even more clear idea how to better prepare the dish, where to look for certain ingredients and things like that.Loved it!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Lovely new recipes By Kvoda Dimi I was a little surprised by the recipes containing meat since the diet is in general vegies, olive oil and seafood . I'm a vegetarian and wasn't looking for a 'diet', but new recipes.This book has some good ones like the gnocchi which has a new taste. I enjoy them all. Each is easy to follow and vegetarian substitutions don't detract from the tasty recipes.

I have tried many diets and this was on my list since long. My friend suggested this book and grabbed it. The book has some amazing introduction to Mediterranean diet, its benefits and the ingredients mainly used in the diet. The recipes are just amazing and mouth watering. I have tried few and they turned out well. Also i like the tips and notes section which i found interesting as they share ideas about better cooking a particular dish or finding a ingredient etc.. Overall.. a delicious book and great diet..Must have!!!!
