There's photos for every recipe though not always of the finished product. The recipes are very simple to make, nothing complicated, fancy, or too time consuming, except for some yeast bread recipes. This has mostly sweets/dessert recipes with only a few biscuit and yeast bread categories. I would have liked more cookie recipes.Only five out of twelve recipes that I've made are ones I wouldn't make again. There are so many more that I plan to try in the future. The two-cheese vegetable quiche recipe alone is worth more than the price of the book, as well as the chocolate cake recipe. The biscuits were the most disappointing.THINGS I'VE MADE: TWO-CHEESE VEGETABLE QUICHE, HERBED CHEESE AND BACON BISCUITS, CHOCOLATE CAKE, CHOCOLATE CHIP-OATMEAL CAKE, SUGAR COOKIE CUTOUTS, STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE, CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE, WHITE CAKE, CHERRY COBBLER, CRANBERRY POUND CAKE, DESSERT OVEN PANCAKE, CHUNKY PATH BROWNIES.I received this from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

By bluemoon_547 If you already own Anyone Can Bake: Step-By-Step Recipes Just For You (Better Homes and Gardens) Hardcover Spiral, published in 2009, then you don't need this book. http://www.amazon.com/Anyone-Can-Bake-Step---Step/dp/047050059X/ref=sr_1_15?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1440772435&sr=1-15&keywords=better+homes+and+gardens+baking It is an exact duplicate, except for the difference in binder format. If you click on Look Inside for each book you can compare the table of contents and see it is exactly the same. That seems very underhanded of Better Homes and Gardens to not mention that fact when they came out with this book. I was all prepared to buy this book when I decided to check and see if it is the same as Anyone Can Bake which I already have, since part of the title was so similar. Good thing I caught this, and I don't want to see others get stuck with a book they already have. As far as the review, I gave it four stars because I didn't know how to rate it since I am not reviewing the recipes here. I can't speak for Anyone Can Bake since I haven't made any recipes from it yet.
