Amazon #1 Bestselling series in *New Release* for Clean Romance Six Award-Winning Authors have contributed new stories to A Timeless Romance Anthology: Under the Mistletoe Collection. Six contemporary novellas, all adding sweet romance to the Christmas season. In the enchanting novella FORGOTTEN KISSES by Cindy Roland Anderson, costume designer Madison Taylor has no love lost when the male lead playing Sir Lancelot in a TV series is fired. She couldn’t stand working with him anyway. But when she discovers who his replacement is, her heart nearly stops. Caleb Matthews is one of the hottest male actors ever… and not to mention Madison’s former boyfriend. When things got too serious between them, everything fell apart. And now, Madison must play nice or lose her job. She just has to forget all of the reasons she’d fallen for him in the first place. In THE LAST CHRISTMAS, a sweet romance novella by Annette Lyon, Meredith only has to make it through the Christmas holiday pretending that she and her husband Eric aren’t on the verge of divorce. She doesn’t want to ruin the holiday for her two grown daughters and their boyfriends. But when Eric hurries home after weeks of living in a motel to unpack before their daughters arrive, he starts pressing Meredith with questions about why she filed for divorce. The last thing Meredith wants to do it give Eric a second chance, but it seems that Eric is not willing to let her go without trying to win her back. In Julie Coulter Bellon’s captivating novella TRUTH OR DARE After a year of recovery, wounded war veteran Jonah Harrison comes home for Christmas. No longer the outgoing high school track star, he just wants to be left alone, away from well-meaning friends and neighbors. But when a blizzard strands him with Cami Jackson—the girl who once knew him best—he can’t hide anything from her, no matter how much he wants to. Cami has a wounded heart of her own, though, and it might take a Christmas miracle for them to find the healing they both long for and the courage to reach for a chance at love. In the charming novella HOLIDAY BUCKET LIST by Sarah M. Eden, Celeste Lagorio has officially given up on Christmas. A single mother, with her children grown and unable to return for the holiday, Celeste determines to take a break from everything. When her single neighbor and almost-best-friend, Mike Durham, discovers her non-plans, they discuss things they’ve always wanted to do, but never had time. Mike and Celeste put together a friendly competition of checking off the things on their bucket list, all the while drawing closer and discovering they have more in common than they thought. In CHRISTMAS EVERY DAY, a delightful novella by Heather B. Moore, Monica is on the verge of buying her dream store, but when she tells her boyfriend, he turns it into an embarrassing public argument. Heartbroken, but determined to follow her dream, she goes to her employer’s Christmas party to play Mrs. Claus, only to be paired with someone unexpected. A young Mr. Claus who is the complete opposite of her ex-boyfriend in all the most important ways. Yet, Monica is not sure she can risk opening her heart again. In Jennifer Griffith’s exciting novella FIRST (AND LAST) CHRISTMAS DATE, pilot Juliet Law has been in a holding pattern, dating the wrong guy, until she gets a holiday shake-up: old flame Tag McClintock e-mails her to ask for second date—after ten years. Their first date, back in high school, had been an unmitigated disaster culminating with Pepto Bismol and the police. Still, Juliet would have gone out with Tag again the next day—and the next—had he asked. So now that he’s finally popping up in her in-box again, Juliet must decide whether to say yes to the date, even if it puts her at risk of another decade of carrying a torch for Tag McClintock. Will their second date be their last?

I love it and I have found wonderful authors through reading their sweet novellas. That being said, this isn't my favorite of the anthologies, but I still enjoyed most of it. Let me break it down for you....FORGOTTEN KISSES by Cindy Roland was delightful! I really enjoyed her take on the after-effects of misunderstandings and love gone wrong. Poor Madison Taylor is working her tail off to keep her little family going and finding herself working with her ex-fiance, the oh-so-handsome British celeb Caleb Matthews is a shock. But she squares her shoulders and is ready to prove she's over him! Thankfully, Caleb is more committed to winning back Madison's trust than he is to having tabloid fame. He doesn't just play a knight in shining armor on TV - he is chivalrous and noble of heart. Very sweet story - I enjoyed Roland's writing style and will be looking up more of her work.THE LAST CHRISTMAS by Annette Lyon was well written and thoughtful, about a couple of the verge of divorce and trying to keep it from their family, but it wasn't my cup of eggnog. For one thing, I don't really enjoy reading romances that are above my age. For another, I felt like Meredith was far too quick to jump on the divorce idea when it was obvious there was very little communication between herself and her husband. As a product of a divorced marriage (twice) I felt her reasons for seeking a divorce were shallow AND she didn't do any work to save the marriage. At least none was hinted at. Counseling would have helped her air her problems to her clueless husband a whole lot sooner. Of course, it all turns around and the clueless husband is clued in with their adult children none the wiser. It just wasn't a good romance for me. Others would likely enjoy it.TRUTH OR DARE by Julie Coulter Bellon was positively lovely! I really enjoyed how compact the story was, taking place in one setting, in the space of a few hours, with just the right amount of backstory/history between the characters. I also enjoy stories featuring war veterans who are not complexly bitter about war but instead just struggling to adjust to civilian life. Jonah Harrison is sweet and good natured, but he's had a rough time adjusting after losing his foot in Afghanistan. Cami Jackson, the girl-next-door, comes looking for her runaway pooch only to be stranded by a snowstorm and power outage. The two pick up a childhood game, truth or dare, and find they have both grown up. Very sweet, snuggly story. I'll be looking for more by Bellon.HOLIDAY BUCKET LIST is by my favorite author, Sarah M. Eden. This story is also about a romance taking place between two empty-nesters, but it's so much more enjoyable than I expected it would be! Celeste and Mike have been neighbors forever and helped each other out a lot as their kids grew up. Each knows the perils and pitfalls of being a single parents. But the kids are all gone now, leaving these next door neighbors with time on their hands. It's time to take their friendship up a notch, and I really enjoyed how it unfolded. Loved it.CHRISTMAS EVERYDAY by Heather B. Moore is my favorite this time around. I love Monica. She is a strong young woman who just needs to have a little more faith in herself. Thankfully, she's coming to see the light about her ultra-controlling-jerk boyfriend, and just in time to meet Jaxon! Jaxon is a wonderful romantic lead - he is thoughtful, conscious of Monica's feelings, and doesn't push for more all at once. Their story is perfect for the holidays, complete with Christmas party, Mr and Mrs Claus, and the matchmaking mama! I would love to visit their little Christmas shop any time!FIRST (AND LAST) CHRISTMAS by Jennifer Griffith was harder for me to get through. It features a series of romantic missteps, a date where everything goes wrong (including being arrested by cops and falling in a tar pit), and a girl and guy who seem overly done in some aspects. Caricatures, almost. He drives too fast and is terribly rich and smoking hot - he is equated to James Bond several times. She is a pilot with a "smoking hot" little red dress who is eager to go on a date with this guy she hasn't seen in a decade. The whole thing was classified as a romantic comedy, but I had a hard time buying it. I think with a novel-length working of this story it would've been a lot more fun, but it just wasn't for me.Four out of six enjoyable stories isn't at all bad - and this IS an anthology. What appeals to me might not appeal to you, and vice versa, but overall the Timeless Romance brand always delivers good stories and introduces me to wonderful new authors. :-)Also, I was given a free copy of this anthology in exchange for my honest review. Yay, me!

There is something for everyone, with a wide variety of ages and backgrounds from story to story, but being a remantic at heart, I am glad that they all end happy. Over all- I would say the couples had a similar problem, though, of communication. (I credit this to the size of the stories though. If you need a story to be short, the problem has to be relatively easy to solve.) although, it gives you an idea of just how much trouble the lack of communication can cause in a relationship. The first story is about two young people who were once engaged, but doubt and fear ended their relationship two years ago. Now they are thrown together for their work, and things between them escalate quickly. The second story is about a married couple who had separated. But they have agreed to spend one more Christmas together for their kids. I really was captivated by this one, because the problems she sees in her marriage are easy to relate to, but as they spend time talking together and time with their children, they find room in their hearts for another chance together. The third story is about a soldier who had his leg blown off in Afghanistan, and after he had gone through rehab, he had moved in with his parents and not left the house after that. When his old best friend stops by looking for her lost dog, they get stuck alone together because a the storm gets worse and the electricity goes out. To pass the time, they play truth or dare, and of course end up expressing their feelings for one another. The fourth is about a widow and widower who are neighbors. When she expresses her confusion about what to do this Christmas (her kids are not coming home for Christmas), her friend suggests that they do things off their bucket list from 25 years ago. They make a bet on who can get the most done before Christmas. As they write up their list, they end up with some hilarious things to do and gather before Chistmas (including parachute pants and Vanilla Ice) This cute story was one of my favorites of this collection. The fifth story is about a soon-to be owner of a Christmas shop, and her crazy manipulative boyfriend. (Who early on she decides to dump) but he just won't let her go without a fight. Good thing another man soon enters her life, and seems to know right away what she needs. And last, but not least, is the sixth story. It is a about a girl giving a boy she hadn't dated in ten years a second first date, and all the disastrous things that happen (and the disastrous things that are hinted about their first date 10 years ago sprinkled in, too) including being pulled over by the cops, and taken into custody, and also includes a tar pit and climbing the fence (against their better judgment) - and the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. This story is hilarious, and ends very nicely. I appreciate the fact that this story has an epilogue, and you get a glimpse of their lives together.

By Florence I've read other Timeless Romance Collections and this one lived up to the predecessors. Each collection has a couple of the same and a couple new authors, which is great because it gives a new flavor to each book without losing quality. The stories in this selection were each wonderful. At times, my tummy was tingling right alone with the main characters'. It's a great read anytime of year but will surely get you in the mood for some hot chocolate and mistletoe.
