About the Author Patricia Smith lives in Hampton, Virginia. Since high school, she has loved and aspired to write. This is the first writing she has submitted to publish, inspired by the witness of her husband's unique and amazing faith. She credits God with the accomplishment of this writing and extraordinary message. She has two children and four grandchildren and treasures the times with her family all together.

My parents were also very close with The Smiths. They were included in Christmas and other family gatherings. It was one big happy family and I treasured that time with them, especially with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa, Lyman's parents. So when I heard about this book Patsy had written, I immediately went online and bought two copies: one for myself and one for my mother for Mother's Day. She just called me and said she had read it already (she loves reading), could not put it down and that it was absolutely wonderful. She (or any of us) said she never really knew what he went through during his cancer treatment and how horrible it must have been sometimes. He so loved his coffee and had to give it up. My mother thanked me for giving her the book, she thoroughly enjoyed reading it and will read it over and over again because it was so inspirational. I have started reading mine and can't wait to finish. Thank you Aunt Patsy. You are truly an inspiration to live by!!!!!
